- Introduction
What is presented here in this blog post has to do more with Pneumatic Biblical theological background, bringing to light Biblical revelations of the true origin of man’s existence on earth.
Pneumatic theology is from the word Pneuma which means Spirit or the Dunamis God. It deals with a more deeper revelations into expository of coded messages in the Bible.
Systematic theology is the academic learning of the Bible, this was what Apostle Paul learnt under Gamaliel who was his teacher and he later on went deeper into Pneumatic theology.
- The first man created
The issue of the origin of human is much deeper that what academic learning, philosophical theories, can reveal unto us and that is why academic lens, philosophical analogies will attempt but cannot help us arrive at the origin of humans, and that explains why a lot of misleading academic theories has actually indoctrinated us and thrown us into the abyss and has in reality caused a lot of harm done good to our very existentiality as humans, and we are still suffering the repercussions till date and this has brought about the coined word-“race” and “racism” which has divided, but in reality God in His wisdom created us one, and that id why in the Biblical days you find “black” skin people giving birth to white people and “white” people giving birth to “black” people. We shall find out more on this.
Before we understand the origin of man, we need to look at the first man created-Adam/’Adham, how he existed, the Biblical anthropological connections this will shed more lights to the mystery of our existence.
To get things connected, lets look at the name of the first created-Adam. The word-“Adam” or “Adham” means, “son of the red earth”. It originated from a Hebrew word “Adamah” meaning earth. Apparently this means that Adam was created from the earth as stated in Genesis 1:26-27. The name was also assigned to the human specie both male and female, and was not referring to one person as Adam, but all humans as Adam. This notwithstanding, the name “Adam” was also used to refer to a single individual in the garden of Eden ( Genesis 3:25)
Making inference from this, this should give us a clue that the origin biological appearance of Adam was more of reddish earth just as the color of the earth. But eventually from this ushered in tonal skin gradations to “dark/ black” skin looking humans then with more shades of gradations into “peach/white” skin people.
How the variation of skin color existed-‘dark/black” and “peach/white”
Before with delve into this, lets look at certain postulated misconceptions which has been disproved by the Bible.
Some postulations has it that, due to cold weather conditions white people who were black people became white. Others too belief “white” skin people are descendants of the fallen angels who had affair with humans as recorded in Genesis 6 and with this, they believe that ‘’white” people are not 100% human, and therefore posses certain inherent superiority to “black” skin people. Then the most unfortunate of all is the malicious racial supremacy motivated theory of Darwinism which has caused lot of harm to the existence of humanity. Sadly all these are proven both scientifically and Biblically to be baseless.
In fact the “white” man anthropologically is not created with different filial genealogical descendancy at a different time, but a variation of the initial creation of Adam, who had already existed.
- Brief narratives of Noah’s genealogy
After God destroyed the world, the only humans that were left was Noah and his family, who survived to continue the human specie. Noah had three sons- Shem-Japheth-Ham.
Ham gave birth to four sons>Mizrem (Egypt) white, Pat(Libya)white Canaan(Black) Cush(Ethiopia) black. Canaan been black gave birth to his first born Sidon and he was “white” and from Sidon came the Sidonians (Gen 10:15 1kings 5:6) and in fact the current day Europeans are descendance of the Sidonians, but if you trace their genealogical descendancy, you will trace to a black man Canaan.
These Sidonians had been crafty, skillful and technologically inclined even in the Biblical days. They were those who built ships in the Biblical days, Amos chapter 1 says their ship is full of craft. This was why King Solomon contracted the king of Hiram to build the temple (1Kings 5:6) So you see from the beginning they were crafty, so that explains why the modern day Europeans are technologically ahead.
Taking into Biblical account, basically out of a black woman’s womb came these groups and that is Rebecca or Rivkah in Hebrew, (Genesis chapter 24) But prior to this, there was a covenant established between God and a man known as Abram. Abram in Hebrew means high father or father exalted. He lived in a land known as Hur (Genesis 12:1) and his father was an idol worshiper and this subsequently had a spiritual consequences on him so God had to instruct him to relocate.
Abraham walked faithfully with God and passed the test of God and that pleased God and He established a covenant with Abraham to make his offspring as the and as the dust of the earth( Genesis 12:1-2, reaffirmed to Jacob in Genesis 24:18) So through him we sprouted into different color pigmentation, languages ethnicity etc.
Abraham though he married at old age, the wife he married to-Sarai, was barren and that was his half sister. They almost lost hope until God decided to visit Abram and promised him a son and the son was Isaac. Upon this promise, God changed the name form Abram to Abraham which means- Father of all nations and subsequently changed the name of Sarai to Sarah( fruitfulness) This tells that certain names can spelt out doom for a person.
God in His miraculous works opened the womb of Sarah at age 90. God in His mysterious ways will always do things that will confound man. At the time Abraham clocked 100 years and Sarah 90 years, they had their first child-Isaac. Also worth nothing is that Abraham earlier on had a son(Ishmael) with Sarah’s housemaid and a nation came out him too.
It is from this promised son-Isaac who was the covenant son through him we shall see the birth of nations(Genesis 21:12)
Isaac grew up into adulthood and got married to Rebeka or Rivka and unfortunately Rebeka or Rivka was also having same bareness issue, until God intervened and she conceived. Now you might think that as Rivka conceived she will be celebrating and full of joy, but not, the pregnancy brought her lot of pain, so she enquired of God, and God disclosed to her she was carrying two nations( ‘races’) in her womb, thus twins.
At birth we were giving the description of Esau, this is because he came out with unusual skin features-looking reddish and hairy(Genesis 25:25) The name itself took it root from the Hebrew parlance “asa” meaning “maker” or “doer” or “worker”. Inferentially from this look of Esau gives us that connection to the birth of the “white” nation. Jacob’s description was silent since he came out basically looking more like everyone else.
In fact the period of pregnancy and birth was characterized with unusual drama with troubles and rivalry. Esau came out first and Jacob the second born came out holding to the heel of his brother Esau trying to push him back into the womb, and this earned him the named “Jacob”, which means “deceptive”. . So Apparently Esau became the progenitor of the Edomites who dwelt in the land of Seir (Genesis 36;43), here is where the “white” race nation begun. These same people are those who sprouted as as Sidonians (Genesis 1019)
However as they were growing up God favored Jacob and changed his name to Israel so he could be the father of God’s chosen nation, so through him came the twelve tribes of Israel. God pronounced covenant blessings upon Jacob that all nations shall bow to him (Gen 27:27-29)
- The twelve sons of Jacob
Jacob upon his visit to his uncle Laban’s house was given Leah and Rachel to marry. In between these two wives came eight (8) tribes and the remaining four(4) tribes came from the housemaids of Leah and Racheal who were given to their husband Jacob to marry. Interestingly, there was rivalry and competition to have more children, that is how come they offered their housemaids to Jacob so they could have more children. Now lets see the breakdown of the sons:

The remaining four (4) are the sons of their housemaids.
Bilhah and Jacob birthed Dan and Naphtali.
Zilpah and Jacob birthed Gad and Asher.
With this we notice that only two of the twelve tribes were “white”- the sons between Rachel and Jacob-Joseph and Benjamin. The remaining ten(10) were all “blacks”.
It is from the tribe of Levi that we have the (Levites3:11-13, 41,45) then the tribe of Judah were chosen to be kings, meaning right from king David to Solomon were all “blacks”. And subsequently is from that genealogical root came Christ, who were all ” blacks”. But unfortunately this Biblical narrative through political oligarchy has been maliciously twisted through racial propagandism.
So it will be out of sheer ignorance for one to think that Christianity is a foreign belief system, and therefore Africans should get their own religion-sad “black” skin people do not even know the Bible contains our own history.
- Conclusion
In reality, the whole concept of race is illusionary. We are all interconnected and from one traceable ancestral descendancy.
